Famed rock group Bad Company has announced an exclusive 10-date tour this summer, featuring all three remaining original members: Paul Rodgers, Mick Ralphs, and Simon Kirke. Tours from this legendary band with undeniable classics like “Feel Like Makin’ Love” are rare, so if this tour hits your town you don’t want to miss it. The Doobie Brothers will be joining the band for select shows, adding even more incredible music to the package. According to vocalist Paul Rodgers, “These dates are to thank the fans for keeping the music alive, I invited my friends The Doobie Brothers because I’ve always loved their music and them as people.” Rodgers has been keeping busy by touring and recording with members of Queen as Queen + Paul Rodgers, and was recently named one of the top 100 singers of all time by Rolling Stone.
The tour opens in Hollywood, Florida at the Seminole Hard Rock, the same venue where last year on August 8 the band recorded a live DVD. Titled “Bad Company – Hard Rock Live,” the DVD will be available to fans during each show on the upcoming tour, and will also see an official release nationwide. Package tours are going to be big this summer, so I’ve added a new poll that you can vote in below, and on the right sidebar. It will be interesting to get a sense of which tour generates the biggest response. Does it have to be a unique combination to perk your interest or are you happy as long as you enjoy all of the bands involved? Go ahead and voice your opinion.
