Journey, Yes, and Asia Inked for Moondance Jam

Journey on September 16, 2008

There are three major signings for the Moondance Jam to report over the Easter weekend: Journey, Yes, and Asia. Journey will headline Day 1 of the festival, Thursday July 16, playing what will most likely be their first tour date in America for the summer of 2009. Progressive rock invades Moondance on July 18 with the duo of Yes and Asia – the two bands share a guitarist in Steve Howe, and each have a diverse catalog of hits. There is no other information at this time on further touring collaboration between Yes and Asia, although such information will likely be released soon. With only one more band left a mystery at the Moondance Jam, it’s the perfect time to buy tickets: a 3 day pass is still just $130 if you buy before April 15. General admission seating means that you’re in charge of your own concert experience – you can take a seat on the hillside, or get up close and hear the ground shake when Whitesnake takes the stage.

impressive additions, I wonder if Jon Anderson will be back with Yes this summer. Asia is one of my favorite bands and of course Journey we all know that is a no brainer.
