In Pictures: Saving Abel and Lita Ford

Saving Abel - August 5, 2009

A fresh act from Mississippi, Saving Abel took the opening slot for Aerosmith at the Buffalo Chip Amphitheater on August 5 and rocked it to the extreme. Singer Jared Weeks was constantly running, jumping, and giving it all into the microphone; not even the 30 foot catwalk was able to provide the sort of audience connection he was after. The opening song “In God’s Eyes” set the mood with a frenzy of sound and action on stage, and the energy remained intact even to the end of the hour long set. Still new to the touring scene, the band is not yet a well-oiled machine on stage, but there’s something to like about the raw and spontaneous atmosphere that they bring. Lita Ford - August 3, 2009

LITA FORD

Speaking of knockout performances, Lita Ford also delivered the goods to the Sturgis bikers and rockers on August 3. We published the review last week, but now the full photo gallery is available by clicking the photo or link above.
