Journey is currently wrapping up the second leg of their Revelation tour, a highly successful outing that brought the band back into mainstream consciousness and gained them the respect of music critics and fans alike. Soon, part of the magic will be available on DVD. Journey: Live in Manila is a landmark concert that captured the excitement of 30,000 fans as they witnessed the homecoming of singer Arnel Pineda. Filmed with state of the art RED technology, the resolution of the footage exceeds that of 35mm film thanks to 4K high definition cameras. The band played 24 songs – hits like “Don’t Stop Believin’“, and new cuts like “Wildest Dream“.
The DVD will be a Wal-Mart exclusive, in stores on Friday, October 2nd. Also on Friday, Journey will appear and perform on the Oprah Winfrey show.
