It’s always sad when a show is canceled, and even more sad when it’s an entire tour. Def Leppard, due to what the band calls ‘unforeseen personal matters’, has been forced to cancel their fall tour across the United States, which was set to hit cities like Reno, St. Paul, Detroit, and Nashville. “We know how truly blessed we are to have such committed fans,” said the band in a statement. “That’s why we’ve agonized over this decision. Even if just a single concert, we don’t take canceling shows lightly, but unfortunately life’s commitments need to be the priority.”
We had planned to cover the band’s St. Paul show on November 6 here at Melodic Rock Concerts, so the news is disappointing at the very least. Let’s hope that all five members and their families are doing well.
