The show will document and deliver the way the Nugent family and millions of other American families hunt, fish, trap and shoot in a real, raw, intense and pure hunting lifestyle. Fans of the rock and roll madman know that the Nuge is no stranger to television. In 2003, a reality show entitled Surviving Nugent ended with 44 stitches and a leg brace after a chainsaw accident, and two years later another reality show spawned in the form of Wanted: Ted or Alive. If that’s not enough to get your fill, Ted Nugent: Spirit of the Wild still airs on the Outdoor Channel and features all of the hunting and rock and roll antics that have made him a national icon.
After playing his 6,000th concert in 2008, Nugent took a break from touring this year. However it appears that all things are go for a 2010 Ted Nugent Rockout like no other. Three tour dates in January are already announced for the West Coast, but it’s a likely bet that more shows are to come for the spring and summer.
