With a new studio album in tow, Hinder is ready to roll out on the road for a series of club shows in January and February. The five piece band from Oklahoma has grown to be one of the biggest names in modern rock, and have amassed over 4 million in album sales in the United States alone. All American Nightmare is the title of the newest release, and according to singer Austin Winkler, “The heavy songs are heavier.”
The winter tour will consist of intimate club and theater shows in the eastern half of the US, with special guests Saving Abel, My Darkest Days, and Kopek. The music video for the title track and first single is now available on YouTube.
Winkler further explained the songwriting process for Nightmare to Soundspike. “Me and Cody [Hanson, drummer] have been writing for probably a year and a half,” Winkler said. “We wrote, I think, 60 or so songs for this record, which is not what we normally do. We normally do whatever the label wants. But for this record, we had to do something different. We had to mix it up a little bit. We wrote a lot of songs. We’re going to have 10 on the record and 12 on the deluxe version.”
