January 11, 2011 – After completing an exhausting round of touring with piano companion Billy Joel, shorter stints on the road are the name of the game for Elton John. The singer/songwriter has announced a new series of U.S. headlining dates for this spring, including two shows at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Elton and the band – Davey Johnstone on guitar, Bob Birch on bass, John Mahon on percussion, Nigel Olsson on drums, and Kim Bullard on keyboards – will perform the ‘Greatest Hits Live‘ concert, featuring number one chart hits and classic album tracks from throughout Elton’s illustrious five-decade career.
